He presented himself as a consensus-builder, and talked frequently about reaching across the aisle to his Republican counterparts. The problem with his middle-of-the-road, even-Steven portrait of Obama, is that, in reality, it never existed. Let's start with his Senate career. During the 20 years before becoming the most liberal-voting Senator, he was known far and wide as a far-Left Chicago community organizer, one endowed with unusually effective rhetorical gifts. So let's turn next to his training as a community organizer.

What is a community organizer? It is at base a social agitator. At first I thought it might just be someone who organized block parties and helps to get out the vote? If you disagree, then you don't know what Marxism is. Their primary goal is to amass and centralize political power. Community organizers are left to decide what their own definitions of morality will be.

I'm not making this up. It's in their literature, the very literature Obama embraced and taught classes on to new recruits during the 's and 's. In one of the New Republic 's articles on the recent presidential campaign, journalist Ryan Lizza chronicled the ascendancy of Barack Obama. He takes us on the journey of a 24 year old agnostic who moved to Chicago after responding to an advertisement in the New York Times, to the United States Senator who would eventually become Commander-in-Chief.

The details of that rise, of the people Obama worked for, and the things he believed in and taught others to believe in, are all at serious odds with the bi-partisan, non-radical, new type of politician President Obama insisted he was during the campaign. The men who ran it were primarily atheist and white males who realized that were being rejected by black pastors and community leaders because of their skin color and lack of religious faith. They hired Barack because he was black, well spoken, and believed in the radical ideology of Chicago's own Saul Alinsky. His influence ed however, as he left behind him a number of organizations that trained future agitators under the guidance of his published magnum opus, Rules for Radicals.

Barack Obama was himself first turned away by the same Chicago pastors and leaders. Because he was working for the same atheist white guys the group had previously rejected, and it was known that he was not a church-going man. He urged Obama to join his church in order to win over the confidence of the black community, which he did.

It cannot be avoided that Barack Obama, the man who claims to be a moderate from the school of common sense, chose for his home church and pastor a mentor that a pro-Obama liberal magazine described like this:. So who helped shape President Obama's thinking? But not everyone was willing to believe it—not yet. Obama could have picked any church…. Obama chose Trinity United.

He picked Jeremiah Wright. Obama wrote in his autobiography that on the day he chose this church, he felt the spirit of black memory and history moving through Wright. By this point, Team Obama was working overtime to paint him as a postracial candidate, but is this in fact the case? His own writings reveal some very questionable attitudes. One notable case was his spontaneous reaction to an altercation between a Cambridge, Massachusetts, police officer and Henry Louis Gates, Jr. The conflict occurred when the police arrested Gates for disorderly conduct as they responded to a call to investigate a suspected burglary at his home.

As Wallace-Wells warned long before Obama was elected, Obama believes America has abused and misused her wealth and power. This belief explains his obsessive riffs against the United States on foreign soil, his incessant apologies for our past behavior, and his assurances that under his reign, America will do better. That Obama was steeped in the twisted worldview of Reverend Wright was painfully obvious to anyone following the political scene, and especially to my viewers and listeners.

He marveled at his theology, and at the oratorical magic Wright brought to bear in service to causes they both believed in. Obama had actively embraced Wright. It was a fair charge, and a real concern. That process started much earlier, with even closer associations. For Obama, his affiliation with Reverend Jeremiah Wright was just a continuation of this pattern of relationships—one that would serve as an affirmation and validation of his already-shaped worldview. My purpose in highlighting these radical associations during the cam paign, and to delve more deeply into them now, is not to smear him, but to understand him—to demonstrate that Obama has a genuinely radical past, one that serves as an accurate predictor of his presidential policy agenda.

Unlike nearly any other American politician, Barack Obama spent his formative years in a land where communism was no abstract principle, but a cause that had recently led to a bloody civil war: The media has devoted little effort to inquiring into the impact these formative years had on his political education.

But what we know about his background raises troubling, unresolved questions. Barack Obama lived in Indonesia from ages six to ten, just after a civil war in which the Communist Party of that nation, known as PKI, was obliterated.

During this period—and especially in the city of Jarkarta, where the Soetoros lived—PKI members continued to be slaughtered. At such an impressionable age, young Obama must have been profoundly affected by these events. In Dreams from My Father , Obama himself lets slip that, during their time in Indonesia, his mother raised him to be contemptuous of America and Americans.

She [his mother] had taught me to disdain the blend of ignorance and arrogance that too often characterized Americans abroad. After leaving Indonesia in the early s, Obama spent several years in Hawaii. While he was there, his maternal grandfather, Stanley Armour Dunham, introduced Obama to his early mentor, Frank Marshall Davis, an African American journalist, poet, and radical who was known to the FBI in the s as a member of the Communist Party. My mother grew up with a healthy skepticism of organized religion herself. As a consequence, so did I. Throughout his early years, Obama was surrounded by far leftists—from Indonesia to Hawaii to Harvard to Chicago— all of whom embraced an identical political narrative, which viewed the United States, its capitalistic system, its freedom, and its democracy as suspicious at best, satanic at worst.

Obama speaks proudly of his years in Chicago, but this activity is not as innocuous as it sounds. The Democratic National Convention had all the elements of the perfectly organized event, Saul Alinsky style. It is an amazingly powerful format, and the method of my late father always works to get the message out and get the supporters on board. When executed meticulously and thoughtfully, it is a powerful strategy for initiating change and making it really happen. Obama learned his lesson well. It is a fine tribute to Saul Alinsky as we approach his th birthday.

What self-respecting patriot, knowing what Obama must have known about Ayers, would go anywhere near such a man, much less break bread and share common cause with him? In a profile published by the New York Times on September 11, , the day of the terrorist attacks, Ayers expressed no regret for his past as a member of the violent s extremist group the Weather Underground.

Obama was lending moral and financial support to Mr. Ayers and his radical circle. That is a story even if Mr. Ayers had never planted a single bomb 40 years ago. Nor should we ignore that Obama campaigned for self-identified socialist senator Bernie Sanders of Vermont.

Garbage In, Garbage Out

Obama racked up quite a liberal record in the Illinois Senate as well. He cut his teeth there on socialized medicine advocacy for the state, but he was always able to use his personal charisma to blunt the perception that he was an extremist. His adult life has been riddled with troubling associations, which together offer a kind of capsule portrait of a young radical in training. In addition to media cover, Obama has another thing going for him: The truth about him and his inner circle is stranger than fiction.

This stuff is just too bizarre for most Americans to process: Some might think it unfair to paint Obama as a leftist radical simply on the strength of the views of his political allies; his defenders might say he has little control over his supporters or what kind of people they are. Katz has an unmistakably radical past, one that includes advocating guerilla tactics during the Chicago Democratic Convention riots of She has hosted fund-raisers for Obama, contributed thousands to his campaign, and serves as a member of the credentials committee for the Illinois delegation to the Democratic National Convention.

But her involvement is just the tip of the iceberg. The significance of his role cannot be overstated. He reviews every speech, studies every major policy position and works with Robert Gibbs, the White House press secretary, to prepare responses to the crisis of the day. Not surprisingly, Axelrod, like Obama, received mentoring from leftist radicals in Chicago.

It is a fine tribute to Saul Alinsky as we approach his th birthday. Alinsky relished the fact that Mr. The anti-morality of Alinsky has brought our national political discourse to a breaking point. This is good for the true believers of Alinsky but bad for those who love liberty, democracy, and the future growth and stability of the United States and the prosperity and security of ourselves and our friends.

Utopians live in a fantasy realm outside of context and history, as if history and its cycles and challenges do not apply to them. Obama is at war, but not in the way that you might expect. Our president does not appear to be seriously interested in war in Iraq or Afghanistan, these are but distractions to the main issue which is the homeland. With his oath of office taken on Abraham Lincoln's personal bible the American people thought that the long circle of racism had finally been closed with Obama 's inauguration, but it is not so.

We thought that we had entered a new era of openness, bi-partisanship, and post-racialism. It is not so; not since Jefferson Davis has an American president been so divisive. The Civil War allusion to Lincoln is appropriate but it is not accurate, our leadership is purposefully divisive because they are Utopians first, Americans second, third, or fourth, or fifth. We live in a time of disunity and radicalism foisted upon us by our leadership.

This is not the future for which Abraham Lincoln had labored. Whoever rejects it does of necessity fly to anarchy or to despotism.

  5. The rule of a minority, as a permanent arrangement, is wholly inadmissible; so that, rejecting the majority principle, anarchy or despotism in some form is all that is left. We must not be enemies. Though passion may have strained it must not break our bonds of affection. The mystic chords of memory, stretching from every battlefield and patriot grave to every living heart and hearthstone all over this broad land, will yet swell the chorus of the Union, when again touched, as surely they will be, by the better angels of our nature.

Lincoln, 1 st Inaugural Address. We live in a time of unprecedented domestic upheaval and not any that has been brought upon us by circumstances or international conflagrations but because our Alinsky-influenced, post-modern leadership believes that conflict and struggle is the path to human evolution.

The Obama administration is the embodiment of the failure of politics because it is not about politics - politics involves concession and compromise - it is about victory at any cost. The American people expected hope and change, as that is what they voted for but what they really wanted was stability and prosperity. He is not a reformer of the system but its would-be destroyer. In his own mind the radical is building his own kingdom, which to him is a kingdom of heaven on earth.

Since a kingdom of heaven built by human beings is a fantasy - and impossible dream- the radical's only real world efforts are those which are aimed at subverting the society he lives in. He is a nihilist. This is something that conservatives generally have a hard time understanding. As a former radical, I am constantly asked how radicals could hate America and why they would want to destroy a society that compared to others is tolerant, inclusive and open, and treats all people with a dignity and respect that is the envy of the world.

The answer to the this question is that radicals are not comparing America to other real world societies. They are comparing America to the heaven on earth - the kingdom of social justice and freedom - they think they are building. And compared to this heaven even America is hell. The Alinsky followers, now that they hold the levers of power, are seeing a popular opposition to their endless agitations. The rise of the Alinskyites has been a rude awakening for most Americans, but it has also energized a vocal opposition. We must return to our roots, our moral, ethical and legal roots, Constitution and Bill of Rights.

We must see ourselves in an historical context which the Harvard and Yale dhimmis in positions of authority will not. Our culture and our country are of great value and are worth protecting and saving. We live in a confused time , but the confusion is clearing away; it is clearing away through knowledge and understanding of the motivations of those in power. The Alinsky ideology of nihilism and deconstruction must be repudiated. Our purpose is to learn through the slow, but sound, evolutionary process of trial and error, and to preserve the Constitution its sovereignty over this great land.

Saul Alinsky's message resonated heavily with many intellectuals and activists of the 70s and 80s including Hillary Clinton and Barack Hussein Obama. Our people naively voted for Mr. Obama and his party. Obama's agenda is clearly built upon Mr. Alinsky's model and method. Obama taught seminars in this method; he is a true believer. The message is that the United States is corrupt and must be de-constructed so that the power can rest with the people. But, it already does. The United States is the hope of the world ; some have forgotten this, or never believed it.

The American people believe it still while our academic and political elites appear to have abandoned the idea. We believe in liberty, freedom, and tolerance, we do not believe in totalitarian barbarism like that of Islam. We are expected to preserve these freedoms and our system of Constitutional government that supports them. There is no utopia, and there is no better system of government in history than what we have here in this country.

Our purpose as citizens should be to constantly improve it and aspire to perfect it knowing that absolute perfection is impossible. This is not absurd but an embrace of constant self-examination and improvement. Those who embrace Utopianism, like Saul Alinsky and his followers, believe that it is real — the Utopian idea is the same as the fascist, totalitarian, and communist, and Islamic concept of global conquest. Utopians know what is best, those who oppose them are… evil.

Ours is not a world of global fellowship , and disarmament and universal goodwill. We live in a world of challenges and threats. When we forget that the reality of humanity is the driver of the functioning of the world, we are lost in dreams. Dreamers, utopians, and fantasists do not drive the world; they break it or are broken by it.

Pragmatism without morality and ethics to check it is amoral and leads to de-construction and devolution. Alinsky and his followers have confused agitation with growth; the advancement of humanity must by necessity be driven by morality and ethics. Pragmatism without morality and ethics leads to holocaust. This means that institutions must be brought down because stability is seen as immoral in this amoral worldview. This is a bizarre and corrupt ideology for any leader of a nation to embrace.

If it were possible to provide every man, woman, and child on the planet with food, shelter and clothing as a right, if it were possible to end bigotry and human conflict, what sacrifice would not be worth it? Those having a theological bent might ask where Saul Alinsky is now. The answer is best provided by him. Hell would be heaven for me. We Americans are a people of morality and strong beliefs of our place on this planet and in history. It is wholly inadequate to the government of any other.

In vain would that man claim the tribute of patriotism, who should labor to subvert these great pillars of human happiness, these firmest props of the duties of men and citizens.
